LibGuide Tricks: EBSCOHost Search Boxes

Create a search box for the user to directly search in EBSCOHost.

Example code for SPORTDiscus box:

• Go to the search box builder link below.
• Choose the EBSCOhost Research Databases interface.
• Select a database or choose multiple databases.
• Customize what to include with search box, if anything.
• Add your proxy prefix for your users to be able to access EBSCOHost.
• Enter a title and choose size and other customization.
• Click Create Search Box.
• Copy code.
• Add a new rich text box in LibGuides and paste the code into the Plain-Text Editor.
