Created by Hugh B. Logan, this issue has articles on the cause and cure of disease, straight and mixing chiropractors, a recounting of Hugh Logan’s battle with sciatic rheumatism and the relief he achieved through the use of Logan Basic Technique, and ankylosis. The issue also comments on Logan graduate, Clarence Miller’s success at passing the Iowa State Basic Science Exam.
Tuition increases, the benefits of using Logan Basic Technique, the value of shoe and ischial lifts, posture x-rays, the demand for Basic Technique, Logan Basic College ad, testimonials, and Dr. Marlow’s business class are included in the this 1940 Basic Technician publication.

This issue includes an obituary about Dr. Locke of Canada, an article about flat feet and fallen arches, a letter about x-ray training from Logan graduate, Kenneth Schmutzler, an article about the role of Logan graduates in the war effort, and an ad for Logan Basic College of Chiropractic.
