Streaming Video

With streaming video, you are able to:

  • Link the video in Canvas.
  • Provide the student with a permalink to view the video anywhere.
  • Play the video in your classroom.

How to Access Streaming Video

Streaming video at Logan may be accessed on the video platform or through the library's catalog.  They may be viewed anywhere; on-campus, in the classroom, off-campus, or with a wireless device.

How to access:

From the Library Databases:

  • Go the the library's homepage www.logan.edu/library.
  • Click on Databases.
  • Under Database Types - choose Streaming Video from the drop down selection.
  • Click on a Streaming Video Vendor (i.e. Films on Demand).
    • If you are off-campus or using wireless, login with your Logan credentials.

From the Library Catalog:

  • Click on Library Catalog from the library's homepage at www.logan.edu/library.
  • Choose Search the Logan Catalog.
  • Click on Advanced Search from the right side menu.
  • Enter your keyword(s).
  • Select Video under Material Type.
  • Look for any that have the Location of Logan E-Resources and click on the title.
  • Then click on Logan: click here to access this online resource.
    • If you are off-campus or using wireless, login with your Logan credentials.
