Library Programming: Craft Showcase - Digital Event

Description

During March 2025, the library is showcasing the crafts that Logan students, staff, and faculty enjoy during their free time. We aim to celebrate their artistic talents and inspire others to take up new hobbies.

Name: Lindsay Gallagher

Logan Affiliation: On-campus Faculty member (Discovery & Access Librarian)

Type of Craft and why they love it:  Crochet- "I love it because it's a craft that my grandmother taught me. It was a fun way for us to spend time together when I was young, and since her passing I have been using her leftover yarn to make blankets for my family using stitches she taught me."

How long they've been doing the craft: 20 years.

Name: Emily Vollmar

Name: Madison Stein (photo 1)

How long they've been doing the craft: This is a new hobby for me and I have been dabbling in it for almost a year.
