To sign up for St. Louis County Library email the Library at Library@logan.edu and we'll send you a form to fill out.

After signing up, a SLCL card will be mailed to those who live in St. Louis. This will take about 5 days. Patrons who don't live in the St. Louis area will receive a welcome letter via email with their Library card number and PIN. Accounts remain active for two years.
When they get their card/card number, patrons can set up their SLCL library account at https://www.slcl.org/ and also use the Libby app.

Library Staff Spotlights

As a library assistant, Madison provides circulation desk support, assistance with checking out materials and placing holds, and processes interlibrary loans and electronic resource lending.
In her free time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her two cats.

Our second spotlight for the week is Sheryl Walters!

Sheryl started her library career as a library assistant at Logan from 1994 to 1998. She returned to Logan in 2003, received her MLS from the University of Missouri in 2009, and became Logan’s Reference and Instruction Librarian in 2010.

What we admire and value most about Sheryl is her unwavering dedication to being evidence-informed. Whether she is supporting students, faculty, staff, alumni, or field doctors with their information needs or exploring innovative ways to enhance access to library resources, she continuously provides invaluable insights and critical thinking, helping the library and others make informed decisions. We are grateful to have her as part of the library.

Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in journalism and a master’s in library and information science, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
As a library assistant, Emily Vollmar provides circulation desk support, assistance with checking out materials and placing holds, and processes interlibrary loans and electronic resource lending.  In her free time, she enjoys seeing musicals, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their dog Fin.
