PubMed Permalinks

To create a permalink in PubMed that will allow you to access Logan's full text, you will need to construct the url as an inquiry, then add Logan's proxy server, and finally add a filter after the url to pull up the Logan icon.

How to create a constant link in PubMed that will access Logan's full text.

  1. Locate the article that you want to link.  
  2. Copy and paste the PMID from under the citation/abstract into the search box.

                  The url should then look similar to thishttps://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=24636109‚Äč

      3. Add the following to the front of the url:


      4. Add the following to the end of the url:


The finished link should look similar to this (with only the PMID changed):



Please note you have to do step #2 in order to create a url that is an inquiry. 

For example, the url below is NOT an inquiry url, you can see it does not have the ?term included and therefore would NOT work in creating the link above.
